I'm not sure what program Tune up is specifically. But I do know that not many (if any at all) programs have been released for windows 7 since it's still in RC stage.

One of the solutions for this is the Compatibility Tab. If you can run a program as an .exe, right click it and go to properties -> Compatibility and check the box labeled "Run this program in compatibility for:" and find the OS that you know the program was designed for.

TunUp Utilities 2010 and Stardock LogonsStudio XP

    Hi

I have installed TuneUp Utilities 2010 on Windows 7 and it works like a dream! However, one question I would like to ask is, in the section where you can change your logon screen, it says that TUU is also compatible with Stardocks LogonStudio XP logons screens. I can't see how this can be as TuneUp Utilities logon file extensions are totally different to the LogonStudio XP file extensions for their logon screens and thus, they don't work? Also, in TuneUp Utilities, you have the option to make your own logon screen but again, if it's a .jpeg you are working with, I can't see how this will work as it wont be the correct TUU 2010 logon file extension? Apologies for being so thick but unless I ask these things and hopefully get an answer, I shall never know the reasons as to why it doesn't actually work? I have downloaded and installed LogonStudio XP and downloaded some of their logon screens but that seems to defeat the whole idea of TUU 2010 logons being compatible with Stardocks LogonStudios XP logons, as they just don't work together. So I presume it's just a case of using one or the other as the two programs certainly wont work together as far as logon screens are concerned. Cheers for any help in advance. Mike.
