    Speed fan question

Hi there i installed speedfan and was trying to get my processor fan to slow down as it is quite noisy. I followed the help files and stuff but the fan speed just won't change. Also tried SpeedFan Configuration Manager but the fan speed not changing. Any suggestions?

How hot was the CPU, and GPU when you tried? was it under load or at idle?

A mini SpeedFan 4.42 tutorial. It may or may not work with your motherboard. You basically configure the settings as follows:

CPU (Fan1) and two system fans

    Temperatures Tab
    Fan1 - manually set to Speed01
    Fan2 - manually set to Speed02
    Fan3 - manually set to Speed03
Note: MSI chipset which uses the Fintek F71889 super I/O
