Problem with Windows 7 and Windows Live messenger (MSN)

    Hello guys,
I just upgraded my win7 from beta to RC, and I'm having troubles with MSN. It does install with no problems, but when I double click a contact to chat, I get the "not responding" message.

Any idea what can I do to fix this?

Sorry If a similar post has been made, couldn't find 1.

Could we get you machines specs, and if it was a clean install or upgrade, MSn ver #, etc.

    Specs are:
    AMD Phenom 2 940+
    ATI Sapphire HD4870x2
4 gig of ram (think is Corsair) .
    Asus M4A79 Motherboard.

It was a clean install of Version 7100. At least I think. when the window popped to select in which Hard drive I wanted to install win7 I pressed "format" and then when the disc was empty I pressed "next". Coz it had still the beta version in it. I think that is called a clean install.

    Msn version (14.0.8064.206)

Maybe I should upgrade the windows 7 RC version to a newer one?
