Oops!!!
It should be,
attrib -r -s c:\programdata
Ok I will check and post the results later
Mind telling me what that command does...because it didn't show me any reaction after the command

It removes the read-only and system attributes. Now try the first command to know the attributes,
Attrib c:\programdata
The result should show H I rather than R
If it does, install now and check.
it says I but still can't install =/
any other ideas?
Now it says something like "An error occurred while attempting to create the directory C:\ProgramData\Adobe"
But earlier this week I was trying to install VMware it gave me something along the lines of the first error
And there is already an adobe directory in ProgramData (if you wanted to know that)
Ok, now the installer is able to enter into ProgramData folder but no further. Since you have said, the Adobe directory is already available, can you let me know the permissions for that folder? Basically, you need to take ownership of that folder and then try. If it is again Read-only, then follow the same commands as we did for ProgramData.
No it gave me the same error as before but the first error was of VMware
And sure i'll try those commands and try installing again Thanks
Ok i think I have a feeling that the Microsoft folder is causing the problem =/...because I can't change the attributes of it thus i can't change the attributes of the ProgramData folder =/...I am starting to think my only option left is a restore from a image or a clean install =/ Plz tell me any other advice you might have
Also I can install some files but not all this is really frustrating =/
Thank you for spending your time to help me out :)
