Looking for free cd/dvd burner software

I also suggest take a look at this CDBurnerXP: Free CD and DVD burning software It does a lot, and its free.

Why do you need software for this? I have done this for non-tech savvy people as their backups when archiving photos. I make a bunch of folders called Disc1, Disc2, etc. I handle the splits in data, checking the file sizes of each folder before moving on to the next.

While I recommended 7zip + CDBurnerXP previously, I've just come to learn that CDBurnerXP provides this ability natively.
