    Java Problem, Help Required!


    Having a problem with my java or try to put update 24 (32 bit on 64 bit system) on my Windows 7, Whenever i try to install it i get this message

    followed by

    Any ideas how to fix it?

    There may be a Java cleanup tool for download. I would make a restore point first so you can get Java back if something goes wrong. But I would think you'd be able to put the latest version on a clean system.
    IOW, install the latest "whole enchilada" instead of an update.

    Search the Java download site for Cleanup or Removal tool. Remove java. Install the entire latest version.

    I'm sure there's instructions written by them as it's their software.
