    need force unistaller recomendations.....

I am working on a friends XP machine and she has some POS CA Internet suite that is hosed and won't uninstall or let her on the internet due to the parental controls. I have tried their remover but you have to be on their site to use it, however I can't get to the internet at all, and the cycle goes on.

What I need are some good force unistallers so I can just get rid of this unbearable, intrusive bag of crap!!! (Been a long night trying to get it gone )

    Thanks

Thanks Bill, Tried those last night, but it says I must be on the site to use them. I can't download and save them, then move them (tried that already). It freaks out and says to go to the site and run it instead of saving it. I think they are dependant on the site. Problem is I can't get to their site because this freaking thing won't let me. Thanks though

Too bad. OK, heres a link to a useful page.

Installation & Uninstallation [Archive] - CA Home and Home Office Forum

I cant check any of that stuff because it needs a login, I presume your friend may have that or you may need to register.

Thanks again Bill! Read through alot of the links for the forum, they all say "please refer to the remover tool". There was one person in the same boat as I am they told him to call support. I got the info from my friend who said it was a trial on the system when she bought it. The CC she gave them has expired so it is now just stuck. I called the support desk and they want me to pay them so they can remote in and delete it!! Not gonna happen!!

Will CC Cleaner take care of this or am I stuck with a reinstall of windows ?

This is the most rediculous thing I have ever experienced in my life!!

    Thanks

A lot of the forum gurus use Revo. I never used it just passing on what I see posted a lot.

You may be able to download to Flash Drive and then transfer to the PC in question.

    Might be worth checking.

I always hear it mentioned to be careful when using so you only remove what you want.
