    Google seems to make a habbit of installing their apps, and work folders in weird places.

    Ever checked out where Google Earth saves it's files?

    Thanks for your info.
    Its things like those silly install problems you mentioned that I'm interested in.
    Most programs usually display the default install folder during install but also give you the option of changing the install folder.
    Did Chrome not even give you an option?

    no - i always go for custom install, but no option with chrome.

    it's no big problem having the files stored there, it just seems odd...
