i don't think they support add-ons yet; you can use extensions or scripts, which requires you to add "--enable-user-scripts or --enable-extensions" to the target line
the one new thing they added to this is the new tab page; you can try that by adding "--new-new-tab-page" to the target field by right clicking on chrome and clicking properties; the new tab page is similar to chromium, which is what i'm using version 3.0.193.0 build 20021 |

yeah I have been using --new-new-tab-page which is a nice page. But I must be blind because I still cant see addons mentioned even with the --enable-extensions added.

Please advise us when there is a stable version of Google Chrome that will run properly on Windows 7 64-bit, without having to perform manual registry hacks.
Thanks |

you can download the stable version 2.0.172.39 now!
i've been using version 2 for weeks with windows 7 x64 with no problems at all, no registry hacks, and flash works fine too. the 32bit browser works great in my 64bit OS - try it yourself! the guys above are discussing beta version 3. but why oh why does it install itself into c:/users/*username*/appdata/local/google/chrome/application? what's wrong with program files (x86)/chrome??? |
