    Audio Players

What are people using for audio/MP3 players on their systems? Personally I can't stand the windows media player and would prefer something else. Thoughts?

    Thanks!

i'm a winamp fan, so far as my music and internet radio goes.

groovy visualizations (milkdrop is the best i've seen), and it will play most any media file - not great for movies though.

very customizable too, with about a zillion skins available for it, if you're into 'skinning up'.

    Thanks!

I may try the new Amazon Cloud player once I buy some more music and get the free upgrade for 20 GB of space :)

I remain loyal to iTunes, but that's simply because I've found nothing that handles 14k songs with such ease (and organizes them for me) that's nice to use.

Just for easy, no-install music management, I've use AIMP2 for years.

Virtually no footprint and it just works.

Check it out here: AIMP - Free Music Player

i've never got into 'management' - i just store the albums sensibly on my hard-drive - what more do you really need?

winamp has quite a featured catalogue/media library thingy, but i've never used it.

i'm windows explorer file-o-centric, i generally start things up from explorer - it's the way i'm used to working - i start with the files, rather than the program. don't know if it's right, it's just what i do.

i've got my music folder pinned to my windows explorer on the taskbar, i find the folder i want, right-click >> play in winamp.

    each to his/her own. :)
