DriverMax Pro Version Giveaway

MegaLeecher is having a giveaway for DriverMax Pro for 3 days 9 April 2011 to 11 April 2011. Got mine and updated a bunch of drivers. Always make a restore point before updating drivers. I personally make system images before updating drivers. Will make new images when I see everything is working fine.

Can't get the thing to activate - it is refusing to recognize password.

Given up - can't be bothered with it.

Had it a while back - seem to recall not liking it much.

Very weird - it refuses to accept the password - when typed into the second box - the one that says Reenter Password.

I kept getting a wrong password after typing it in and pressing the activate button. Seems I had a DriverMax account at the email I was using, and didn't remember the info. I used another email, and it worked fine. Sorry if it's causing people trouble

Got it, Thanks. I too had used this before. Just so happened that I remembered the password. I entered it and it promoted to the Pro version. I don't presently have it installed but am heading off to that now.

Just out of curiosity, can it be used on more than one machine or do I have to establish separate accounts/separate downloads?

I've been using DriverMax for several months. After downloading and installing drivers, they always ask if they're successful. How would I know? I tried IObit's driver updater, but it always wanted me to update with drivers that were older than the ones I already had. I'm getting an...

Unable to boot after using DriverMax.
Greetings! I am unable to start my windows 7 (home edition x64). Computer freezes during the starting windows(or was it resuming windows) or gives an almost blank screen after it. Using a Dell Inspiron 1555. I think the trouble might be caused by DriverMax Software. I downloaded a few new...

DriverMax
Drivers, for me, are 'technical ground'. So some advice required please. :) First question is, why update a driver which is not (noticeably) giving problems? Next, how safe is it to do 'recommended' updates? I just ran DriverMax on my system. Here are the results... Do I update or not?...
