    and FYI, props to Mike Connor-- VMWare Player is awesome. On the website to d/l it it even says it's "better than Windows XP Mode" :) (haha!) but XP Mode is just much simpler. Either one would work for you :)

    I got a problem, it turns out you can only use Windows XP Mode on computers running Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate editions.

    So im going to download the VMWare but i still dont know how or where to get windows xp in oder to put it on the VM

    If you want to install XP on a virtual machine, then you need a valid license for it. If you don't have one, you can't do it.

    Is there any other way to deal with my problem, i dont have the money right now to buy windows xp, and just use it for one program.
