    Compatibility not applying.

    Hello.

For everything that needs to fullscreen, & focus, I just check the last 3 checkboxes in the Compatibility tab.

Meaning, switching from Windows Aero theme to the Basic theme.

However this app does not do that, & to switch theme manually every time is frustrating.

Is there something perhaps, to add in its target so it can force-use Windows Basic theme when ran ?

    Hi mistamontiel,

You can start it from another file, like a copy of cmd.exe with applied compatibility settings (settings will be inherited) as described here.

But why is that application ignores compatibility settings?
Or these settings are greyed out?
And what is the name of the application?

Nope. I check the last 3 checkboxes, Apply, 0K, & when I run it it just doesn't get out of Windows Aero theme, which makes fullscreening act up & not focus.

    ScummVM.

EDIT: I checked out your link. Sure..I guess I can locate cmd.exe & copy it to the folder but the rest is beyond me. In using it.

I think it is hardly manageable, because file scummvm.exe starts a virtual machine, and that machine opens its own new window and parameters of that window are set by virtual machine rather than by settings of initial scummvm.exe file.

    I figured as much.

It was Firefox browser running. Now that I attempt fullscreen without my browser running, it works fine.

    Sorry !!
