Windows 7: Skype Crashes on startup

In case you are not aware the Skype network has been partially down during the past week, for a portion of users. May be worth checking the Skype website for any status updates?

three cheers for adysanro, seems "In Win 7 go to: C:\Users\"your name"\AppData\Roaming and delete the Skype folder." resolves issue.

I installed the latest version 5 in my computer and when you do a restart it crashes. I rolled back with rollback rx and installed version 4.2.0.169 and everything is OK.
