    HTC and Metro Home Widgets

If anyone's looking for a good weather/clock widget, then might try out the HTC or Metro Home APIs widgets.

Seem to work pretty good so far with my testing them out. Lots of options there, and can add extras. (different weather providers, etc)

These are Widgets, not Windows sidebar gadgets.

    Both are free.

Did have it crashing after trying to use theWeatherChannel (weather.com) provider under Extras. Had to uninstall and reinstall it, and just use either the MSN or Accuweather provider.

I've not used gadgets since they killed the sidebar, my desktop is only every visible for the first minute after booting so they are pointless.

Very nice little app. It's much better than the WeatherMAN gadget. Thank you Aaron. :)

Been using it for a while before disappearing to check out a few Linux distros. I remember the weather animation slowing down my PC a bit, not to mention that responding to clicks and options is kinda slow. Nevertheless, it's a handy little peace of software for those that don't like the default gadgets that come with Win7.

The good side is that I can scale these widgets so they can fit into my sidebar ruler along with other gadgets
