I keep getting a Windows installer pop-up saying that "Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue....." I click "Ok," and the pop-up goes away but comes back.
I'm not trying to install anything, and I don't know what program may be trying to install or update or whatever it's doing. Is there a way to find out what program it is so I can get it to stop?

Hi,
Type EventViewer in the Start Orb, search box, and then select it from the list that appears. Under Windows Logs > Application, have a look to see if any of the entries listed might correspond to the attempted installation.

Thanks. It appears to be Dell Support Center and/or PC-Doctor. When I go to the control panel, I'm not able to uninstall it because it's asking for the installation disk, which of course I don't have.

Have a look at this little guide at the link below to see if there's an entry in the Windows 7 startup folder (msconfig) that could be causing this to keep trying to install, if so see if disabling/removing the entry will sort the issue for you.
