    Photoshop 4 & Windows 7

I'm trying to get PS4 to work on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Based on previous advice in this forum I copied PS4 into my x86 folder, but when I try to run it I get the following message:

Your Adobe Photoshop Elements username, organization or serial number is missing or invalid. The application cannot continue and must now exit.

    Any suggestions?

Why not just run the 32 bit version?

I don't follow. I thought PS4 is 32 bit which is why I copied it to the x86 folder. The program opens, but when I click on Editor I get the message about missing information.

As far as I know you install PS4 and it automatically goes into the correct folder. If you are 64 bit (and must be because of the x86) it should automatically be installed there

This has nothing to do with a valid serial or organization name. Where did you get yous?
