High CPU usage in Live Mesh

Hello,
I used dropbox, but from they privacy policy changes I switch to Live Mesh.

I install it, configure folder to sync and I have problem with high cpu usage during sending/downloading (syncing) files:

Is it normal? In Dropbox cpu time after few hours was smaller than 00:10:00, in Live Mesh I have more than 3x of it in only 10-15 minutes.

Umm...really? Are you serious? A whole mighty 13% OMG!!!!!111evlen The end of the world is here.
Things do not go faster the less CPU slices you use, THEY GO SLOWER.

Sorry, but it is very high cpu usage.
I have Intel i5 430M and 6 GB DDR3 RAM memory.

If process use cpu in 10-30% in long time (as live mesh), my notebook colling system is noise.
When I used dropbox, there wasn't any problems with cooling noise.

So you don't want it to work? You want it to spend days upon days uploading all your stuff instead of getting it done now? The sooner it gets done the sooner it can sleep and use less of your super precious expensive CPU that should never go above 10% usage, ever.

Its like buying a Ferrari only to drive it once a year and only at 5 miles per hour.

I don't know what is considered normal for Live Mesh cpu consumption, but I have it on all the time, with automatic sign in when I boot up. Right now, idling, it's using 1% or less. I dragged a 700 MB iso file into my synched folder and MOE.exe consumed anywhere from 3% to 7% of the cpu time during the upload synch process.

So the best way is to use Dropbox + True Crypt... both are faster than Live Mesh.
Maybe Mesh 2012 will be better.

Maybe. It depends on what you want from a "cloud" service. One nice Mesh feature is that you don't have to keep anything in the cloud. You can sync between devices without using cloud storage at all. Another feature that is useful to me is the ability to automatically keep browser favorites synched across all supported devices. Add a URL to Favorites on one machine and all the other synced devices will pick it up.

Live Mesh's cpu load has never been an issue for me, not even noticed until I read this thread.

Hm... yes, it's right, if I use truecrypt (or other program for encrypt files) cloud service ceases to be comfortable.
Maybe I try sync all files (about 2,2 GB) and then check Live Mesh performance.
BTW. I updated my Live Essential programs today.
