    Artwork,
I could indeed not solve the problem with the unregistered DLL's. It is related with authorizations. I tried to correct this, nothing worked, I gave up, and reinstalled Win7 (it doesn't take that long...). After complete Win7 installation I rebooted with a Win7 DVD so that I could use a command prompt without any restrictions. I copied the new sysmain.sdb, saved in a temp map) manually to the two locations :

    >copy c:\temp\sysmain.sdb c:\windows\apppatch

    >copy c:\temp\sysmain.sdb c:\windows\winsxs\x86_microsoft-windows-a..ence-mitigations-c1_31bf3856ad364e35_6.1.7600.16385_none_0bf88e4d53a0013e

(last one is for 32 bit version)

then I rebooted and installed Verisoft and no compatibility problem anymore during installation.

What is very strange is that the issue came up again some weeks later!: when starting up, Win7 complained there was a compatibility problem with AsGHost.exe. The sysmain.sdb file in the 2 locations was still ok. Aaaarrgghhh.

If the problem persists please contact your system administrator.

I got exactly the same problem. The warning message is when the verisoft install failed. I don't remember what I did, but as I want a clean install I reinstall win7, apply the patch as explain in post 10 solution 1 and then install the asus security center and it works (the security center is install, I can login to the security center and i can create/restore 'my identity')

But i still have the problem with the TPM AND the security center, I didn't retry since my last post, I stay on the 7 RC on which it works well.

Just an idea : my seven RC is 32 bits, and my RTM is 64 bits on as Asus R1E. Do you try with a 32 or 64 bits ?

i am going to try a clean installation and make the solution, then i am going the install ASPM. i wanna ask you something, we know that ASPM can fill the passwords in internet Explorer, does it do in win 7?
i don't have any problem TMP and security center, my seven is 32 bits my friend.
thank you, after a clean installation i will write here my friend.

In don't use IE, but Firefox and it works quite well with my 7 RC.

I haven't any problem with the TPM and the security center on the RC 32, it's only with the RTM 64. After successfully installed the security center, I configure it, reboot and then I can't login (password or fingerprint). This happen only if I installed the TPM and the security center. I think if I configure the security center to not use the TPM it will work, but I didn't take time to try yet ! Then the question is to know if the bug came from using a 64 bit edition or from the RTM ? (In both case, i hope newer drivers will repair it)

    Hi guys!

Thanx for your info. Here is my setup that works for me:

    - Notebook Asus L54T (M51Tr) Athlon 64
    - Se7en RTM 7600.16385.090713-1255_x64fre_client_ru-ru_OEM_Professional (OEM:SLP)
    - AuthenTec Inc. AES1610 driver 7.8.1.7 16.06.2007 7:00:00 (Windows 7 RTM, DO NOT WindowsUpdate this driver)
    - Asus Security Protect Manager 2.1.0.880.20 (FingerPrints_VT_080319.zip)
    - Search compability database (sysmain.sdb) for asghost (0x0061007300670068006F00730074) and optionaly for TrueSuiteApplication (0x005400720075006500530075006900740065), used vvinhex for this
    - Take ownership on it and patch as follows (just change first letters in exe names):
    Compare files C:\WINDOWS\APPPATCH\sysmain.sdb.orig and C:\WINDOWS\APPPATCH\SYSMAIN.SDB
    002395DA: 61 62
    00385D70: 54 55

    Hope this helps

N-Trig DuoSense Digitizer Software and Driver
