, there's a download bar on the bottom with an orange stripe on top

it has a yellowish/orange stripe across the top of the box.. it pops up from the bottom.
it has run/save/save as.. function. doesnt work well on video.

is this a function of IE9..?? if not what is it it, how do i get rid of it, it doesnt work very well. i hate it. it usurps every other download function, it is REALLY slow.

what is it called in Add/Remove, so i can send it to where it belongs

    thanks

    - you can't disable it, as far as I know..

but, if you have a third-party download manager installed (like FreeDownloadManager..)
you can make settings that ensure the download will be diverted there, by default..

    - then the MS download bar doesn't appear..

    - however, if you cancel a FDM download, the MS bar re-appears, as part of the normal behaviour of ie9
