I bet it is more simple than that - the system tray function probably does an OS check, and if XP/Vista re found, then the minimize to system tray function is enabled - since W7 is *not* either of those two WLM is blocking the System tray function.

Well, it could be that in combination with the new functions to give you ready accessibility and control directly from the taskbar that is built into W7....

But they just made it...FOR Windows 7, why would they not include W7?

Because they *added* code specifically for W7 - but forgot to check the existing code....

I posted in another thread, all you need to do is go to the exe and set it to run under Vista compatibility. Now it will minimize to the taskbar properly again. It fixes the issue, but I agree MS needs to fix it themselves. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll have to give it a try once I reinstall Windows 7 back on my new partition.

    Offtopic-
I see your profile says "Battlestar Galactica"
That's quite possibly the best show ever made, can't wait for this Friday at 10!

I do like the new BGs as well....

And it worked like a charm - don't have a clue why I didn't think to run WLM in Vista compatibility mode, but hey, now I will do that for everything lol.

Yeah the new Battlestar Galactica is very well done. The only complaint I have about it is that there's too much religion from the Cylon's. I know it's a key part of the story but I HATE religion!
