    Good to see you found a solution.

    Many students would probably welcome another post from you describing in a bit more detail how you achieved your goal. They may do a search and find on your solution.

    No Problem, it is very simple:

    1) Open Libreoffice (or Openoffice);
    2) Select Text Document;
    3) Select View/Toolbars and tick Drawing, the tools will appear at the bottom;
    4) When you need to write some mathematical formulas, go to Insert/Object/Formula;

    Now you have all the tools that are needed to Draw mathematical Figures and write formulas at the same time.
