My old computer recently crashed. It was 32 bit and the OS was Windows XP. Back when the Windows XP computer worked I bought and installed Rosetta Stone (Version 3). I am trying to install Rosetta Stone on my new computer but am having the following issue.

When I insert the installation CD, the auto-play starts and I have two options:
1) Run setup.msi or
2) Open folder to view files.
When I click option 1, a window pops up that says the following:
G:\ is not a valid Win32 application

Hi Sagevahi, welcome to sevenforums. Two questions....1) Is your installation drive "G:\" and 2) Is there an installation configuration file on the disc..maybe called setup.ini? If so, see if you can edit that to suit your environment.

bobkn: You hit the nail on the head. Thanks for that link. I called Rosetta and they had me download an update that allowed my to install the rest of the software. Thanks!
