    Unusable Greek Fonts

I'm using Win 7 Home Premium, 32bit. Recently upgraded from XP Pro. Now I can't get usuable Greek fonts on Printmaster 16, Calendar Creator 8.0 or Parsons Address Book Deluxe 6.0. I need these fonts, as I live in Greece. Thanks for any assistance that you can offer.

Are you using the English version of Windows 7?

The best way to get non-English fonts may be to use the Language Packs. Unfortunately, they are normally only available for Win7 Ultimate. (There may be hacks to install them on Home Premium, but I've never tried it.)

I don't know whether that would be worth the price of an Anytime Upgrade, but it's an option.

The Greek characters available in the Symbol font aren't sufficient for your needs?

Thanks for the quick response. My keyboard seems to be acting normally, but acts up occasionally by seeming to do it's own thing. When this happens, I recycle & everything returns to normal

I've considered an upgrade to Win7 Ultimate, but certainly not until I know that the problem would be fixed.

I just tried the Symbol font, but get gibberish with that, also. There are over 20 different Greek fonts in the Win7 package, including old reliables Times New Roman, Arial, Verana and New Courier.

Sorry. I obviously have no idea what I'm writing about here. I make limited use of the symbol font for mathematical expressions, but I nearly never use the non-English characters in the standard fonts (e. g., Times New Roman).

    Maybe the Windows compatibility site:

Windows 7 Compatibility: Software Programs & Hardware Devices: Find Updates, Drivers, & Downloads

will help. I'm unfamiliar with any of the software that you listed, but I imagine that they may be too old to work properly with Win7. If so, I hope that either you can update them cheaply, or that you can run them in compatibility mode.
