    iTunes won't stop opening

I tried doing a google search to help fix this issue. Anytime I open iTunes to listen to music, or do anything with it, the program keeps opening itself up, remaximizing itself, I exit it and then it reappears. I have no clue what is going on. This happens when I don't have anything going on with it. Its becoming rather annoying that less than 5 seconds after I minimize it, its pushing itself right in front again. I updated the iTunes Software a few days ago but that's about the only major change I've made to it. And it only started glitching the past day or two.

    Windows 7 Ultimate 32-Bit

    iTunes 10.4.0.80

    Have you uninstalled and re-installed?

Yes I have uninstalled and reinstalled but it didn't help at all. If I didn't need iTunes to update my iPod and all that I wouldn't have the stupid program on my computer. Its causing nothing but problems right now.

Update as in sync? There are several other programs that sync iPods :)

Hi mrhappyjavaman an welcome to seven forums.

Your issue shouldn't be happening and this isn't normal. I see you uninstalled and reinstalled the software. Try this again, restart the PC and install the software again to see if the issue goes away. Also to double-check, you don't have the iPod connected when this happens do you?

Also are you installing any other Apple software that mght be using the program?

    Let me know.

BTW I'm using the latest version you've tried (iTunes 10.4.0.80) and don't have any issues.
