CS4 removed as this was a typo...

i have and tested CS3 though and it works perfectly...
im running windows 7 x32 build 7000 on an HP Pavilion DV9500,
photoshop CS3 starts ok but crashes when i try to open an image file or a PSD file in it. it does this whether i run as Admin or not

on a serarate note what would be the pros/cons of having x64 as opposed to x32?

    Outpost Firewall

    Hello,

I would like to add Outpost firewall isn't working on 32bit version at least. I tried using compatibility mode, but that didn't work. Any suggestions? I'd like to use outpost instead of windows firewall, though I'll admit the new Windows Firewall is an improvement over the last one. Still needs work though before I feel comfortable using it long term...

If there is no way to get Outpost working, is there anyother free firewall I can get running on win7?

    Thanks in advance,

    -Wes

actually this firewall has been there since windows server (essentially its windows server 2008's firewall [which actually does something...])

have you signed up for the outpost beta??

    About compatibility with Windows 7.

i dont know if there is one currently but it states that their next beta should be compatible...
