    Missing Program

    Hi guys
I' running Win7 64bit. I loaded the Caonon EOS suit (6 separate programs) a few weeks ago. One of the programs called Zoom Browser hung then crashed during installation. All the other programs loaded succesfully.

All the programs (and unistall facilities) now appear in a canon folder in my program list except zoom browser. When I tried to load it again from the disk, it says the program is already installed and and won't go any further (and indeed Zoom browser appears in my x86 Canon program folder and I can launch the .exe - but some elements crash as it has not been installed correctly).

Unfortunately the program does not appear in my control panel's uninstall program list and doesn't show up on other clean-up facilities such as CCleaner. It's a mystery. Canon tell me I need to uninstall Zoom Browser to reload and M$ are responsible. M$ say its Canon that needs to provide advice, etc, etc.

Does anyone have any ideas on how can I uninstall this one program that is hidden from any of the program lists? I see there's a latest version of zoom browser. If I downloaded that over the top of the existing file, would that correct the problem or make matters worse?

    Regards,
    Graham

    Welcome to the Seven Forums
First make a restore point System Restore then try installing the newer version is see what happens.
Here are 2 links to free uninstallers just in case the above does not work.
Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems
    Or

    hi Jerry
Many thanks. I tried both but they only see what the Win7 uninstall list shows. Unfortunately I cannot seem to run restore at the moment (and have a thread elsewhere on SevenForums to see if I can find that solution). If I can get restore going, I'll give the new version overwrite a bash.

    Thanks again,
    Graham
