See if the following page from Microsoft Support helps at all.
You receive an "Error 1935" error message when you try to install Works, Student, or Encarta

I found that article and tried it already I don't have any of the programs listed. Thanks

I have found a Solution to my problem I hope this helps other in need.
The .Net Framework was the program cause my issues so it needs repairing.

Please note, it is not possible AT ALL to remove .NET v2 fromWindows 7 as this is now part of the OS, and not a bolt-on.

The link for the SDK and .NET 3.5 is here for Windows 7:

    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

There is also a .NET cleanup tool which is used to remove .NET installtions. The link is here:

    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/arc...08/406671.aspx

So, my advice is, uninstall Office 2010, then remove manually all the .NET versions that you can and then deploy the cleanup tool. After this install .NET 3.5 SP1 from the link above, plus the other .NET versions that were installed initially. Reboot and reinstall Office.

Could you please run the Microsoft FixIt tool from this page?

You might also want to have a read of this thread too. The opening poster seemed to fix his problem by uninstalling the .NET Frameworks and reinstalling an older version and then updating from there to the newest version.
