Windows 7: Simple software/way to lock folder?

I think most of the time we lock stuff, we lock ourselves out. Like locking your car door. If the thief is classy he has a slim jim. If he's a slob he has a tire iron and breaks the window. We won't break our own car door window so we call the locksmith.

Users folder not visible in explorer,lock on admin's user folder icon?
A past virus must have caused this.The C:\Users folder is not visible in explorer for some reason.I can still visit the contents and the pc works fine,but this is not right.Also, there is a lock on my users/alexandros folder icon.Maybe it has something to do?
