    Strange problems with Adobe installers

    Hi!
I've been trying to install the newest versions of Adobe Reader and Adobe Flash. However, I can't run the installers, they run but they don't show up. I can see them in the Task Manager, but I can't shut them down either. Tried both things with Admin privileges, to no avail. Running Win7 in Protected Mode didn't help either.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks.

    * Have you ever had both installed & working properly before?

    * Just in case something is listed > have you checked in Event Viewer?
    Type eventvwr in search.
Go to the Windows Logs > Application in the left hand column.
Note anything in red that relates to the problem.
Please record the event ID, and the Source Code and tell us what they are.

Hi, surprisingly, everything is working fine now. I guess it was a problem with ZoneAlarm which didn't prompt me to give the installers internet permission so that they got stuck in the process. Today I got prompted and got to give the permission and everything worked out fine. Thank you for your helpfulness anyway!
