    Windows Photo Viewer picture quality issues on FULL HD


    Hi everyone, I am new here and I hope I can get help with a problem of mine. I have had the BenQ XL2420T Monitor for a couple of days now. I noticed that pictures look quite bad on it compared to my Samsung T220. After playing around with it I discovered that they only look bad when opened with the Windows Photo Viewer and ONLY on the BenQ. The pictures look absolutely fine opened with WPV on the Samsung. The funny weird thing, when I open the pictures on the BenQ using Paint or Photoshop they are all fine!!! It is so weird I dont understand it. I have made a video.     EDIT: I had to delete a file in color settings

    I take it that file was an ICM profile? :)

    My first guess would actually have been that Windows Photo Viewer auto-resizes photos to fit into its own window, and doesn't do the best job at that. But it's good to hear you solved the issue.

I'm having a few issues with the Windows Photo Viewer in Windows 7. I have a large amount of family pictures that I took the time to add titles/descriptions to each picture. When I view them in the Photo Viewer, I cannot read the bottom part of the file that includes the titles and other file...
I have SP1 installed, and somehow Windows Photo Viewer can't display this picture correctly, the picture is displayed as if it's compressed into a long horizontal line shape. (I get no problem with other viewers like Paint or IrfanView) I attached the offending picture, FYI it's an album cover...
