Program won't open unless run as admin from guest account

Hey, so no matter what I try, I can't get the program Miro to open in my actual account. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple versions of the program, but none of them will actually open. The only thing that has worked is by running it as an admin from the guest account, however, all of the files that I need are on my actual account.

If I double click or right click then hit "Open", I'll get the circle near my mouse that says it's working, and there will be a spike in my CPU usage, but nothing will appear. When I run task manager and look at processes, Miro will appear there, but I am unable to see it.

If I try to run as admin from my account, I get the same result.

    Any advice?
