I have used Netfix to view streaming movies for years without any issues. After the automatic update the other night, the silverlight plugin crashes every time.
OK, some background. I HATE WINDOWS 7 AUTOMATIC UPDATING!!! I have had to re install Windows 7 several times after having problems following an update. I usually have it deactivated. However, the other day I downloaded the Windows Essentials package and unknown to me that turned the automatic update back on
Other than re installing Windows 7, anyone have any idea about how to make silverlight work now? Thanks.
System Info:
OS - Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Processor - Intel i5-2500k CPU @3.30Ghz 3.30 Ghz
Ram - 8.00 GB
I should have also said this happens regardless of browser (Firefox, Chrome, IE) and only on the my desktop computer. The "not updated" laptop still works so I highly suspect it does have something to do with an updated file.
