The linked version is the free version.

Below is a screenshot of my paid version. Notice it says "Pro" at the top.

The Pro version provides realtime protection rather than relying on periodic scans.

The Pro license is a lifetime license. If you fish around on the net you can find discount coupons for it that will reduce the price 20% or so. I think the retail cost of the license is 20 or 25 dollars.

You can configure it to automatically update the database.

    Yes.

If you had the paid version, it would state "Pro" at the top of the window.

The chart on the right gives details on the differences between the free and paid for (professional) versions:

Malwarebytes : Malwarebytes Anti-Malware PRO removes malware including viruses, spyware, worms and trojans, plus it protects your computer

Incidentally, consumers and personal users only need to pay a one-time fee (businesses and corporate users need annual licenses). As a personal user who has purchased this, I can say that it is well worth the money in order to get the automatic updates and protection that isn't afforded by the free version.

That looks fine. The two products are essentially the same. The free product has certain features turned off which can be activated by purchasing a key. There is no need to purchase or register.
