MagicTune installs a ton of VC++, do I need them all?

I just noticed there's a bunch of Microsoft VC++ listed in my add/remove programs list. Do I need them all? I know they were installed when installing Samsung's MagicTune and didn't uninstall along with every uninstall of MagicTune (I was trying to find a functioning version for Win7 x64).

Should I uninstall the most recent ones on the list?

It is not unusual for multiple versions of Visual C++ being installed. Individual programs may rely on certain components and functions of a specific revision to work. If you are certain that these were all installed by MagicTune, and you are either not using MagicTune, or have a version that you found works. You could remove them, and reinstall the working version of MagicTune, which would then install the version of VC++ it needs. It does no harm to have them all, it is just some clutter. A Guy

That's, I removed all the most recent installs of VC++ and everything seems to be working fine.

They have nothing to do with Magic Tune.

Do you use MagicTune? How do you know?

Every version of MagicTune installs some version of VC++. Give it try yourself.

I have used Magic Tune in the past.

I keep my PC up to date so all VC++ is already installed.
What Magic Tunes or other software needs is already installed that way.

So you deleted a bunch of your Microsoft VC++ updates and you will need to re install them sometime more than likely.

    That was my main point.

    Have a good day.
