    Added/Deleted fonts mishap

So.. the wife and I know just enough to be dangerous!
She decided to add some 6000 fonts to the system by dropping them in the font folder. I come to realize this when i notice the entire system intermittently freezing & running slow as molasses. Suspecting the obvious (and in an attempt to spare myself hours of sifting through fonts!) I figured i could simply delete all of the fonts and the system would retain the required ones (like they would on a mac).
...this, of course, was an epic fail! A good deal of fonts remain but things are pretty messed up in some programs... even navigation seems affected! What do I do folks?
A new user account works surprisingly fine though (...I assumed messing with the font folder would affect all users?) ... any help here would be greatly appreciated!
    Cheers!

I have posted in an attatchement the default fonts (I removed some myself) but not the System Fonts.

Press CTRL+A and hit Delete, or manually select them all.

A dialogue box should ask you to confirm, click Yes.

Another dialogue box will ask if you want to delete the font collection, click "Do this for al selected fonts" and then click Yes.

Some fonts can not be deleted and will show an error, click "Do not show this message again", and click Close.

Some may come up saying they can not be deletesd as they are in use, click Always Skip.
