MTSMerger is not working now in Win7-64

    MTSMerger is not working now in Win7-64


    I installed mtsmerger to my new computer build and it is now not working. mtsmerger is used to join video clips together. I had it on my old computer - an X58 motherboard and an i7-920 cpu (4 cores), using Win7-64. My new computer is an X79 and an i7-3930k (6 cores) with the same Win7-64. Not sure what is wrong, but the error message I get is:

    "The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail."

    Anybody have any ideas? The software is a small program, but is very important to me.

    Try looking at this Error: The application has failed to start because the side by - Microsoft Answers

    I think this is a C++ software issue by the looks of the Microsoft site.
