    Problem with Cs4 software

I just installed Adobe Photoshop Cs4 today on my computer. i tried going on it later in the day and a window came up saying "Software Setup" and it asked for my serial number or if i just wanted to use it on a trial base.

I already entered the serial number once and now its telling me that my number isnt valid. Whats going on?

    Thanks

I have Dreamweaver CS4 working perfectly, but Photoshop and Fireworks are giving me fits trying to install.

For now I think I will try CS3 and see if I can get those to install.

I had the "CS4 Premium Production Suite" installed when I was still using the RC1 - and aside from a few crashes in premiere I never had any problems, even though I was working on a large video-project with 4-5 Adobe programs running at the same time...

I will install it on the RTM as soon as I find my license - would be a shame if that should cause problems

I have CS4 Master Collection and when I installed it on W7, I got an error message. It seems you can only have it installed on 2 machines at a time and you must deactivate it before formatting your drive. I called Adobe and got it straightened out. Took a while, but they did fix it.

Adobe CS4 cleaner-upper script, gets rid of every CS4 trace if you've uninstalled normally and reinstalled on the same machine.
Adobe - Adobe CS4 Clean Script

Revo uninstaller apparently gets rid of everything, too. I've tried running the script after Revo and it says there's nothing to remove.

But if you uninstall via Programs & Features, it leaves enough crap on your machine to make CS4 think you're trying to dupe it, even though you think it's totally uninstalled.
