    Adobe Products

Does anybody besides me ever get pissed when this vendors products require updates? Flash has to ask 3 time if you want to update and when it is done. Can't wait until HTML5 kills this piece of $hit.

The reader product should be a simple program to display PDFs. Right! Instead it is a huge download, installs an update service and requires reboot when installed.

Has anybody @ Adobe ever developed for the real world.... Just venting...

I got rid of all Adobe products except Flash (and that is enough of a pain). For PDFs use Foxit and Adobe Air you probably do not need.

Go to help> update > preferences. Click it and uncheck all.

It will stop all the updates.
(I dont use Flash btw; but the same menu structures are present in Photoshop and Bridge. So Flash should also have the same menu structure).

BTW, reader doesnt need to reboot to install an update for me.

I have used Foxit in the past but it didn't format some of my PDFs properly so I went back to Adobe. Don't use any other Adobe products.

Would really be upset if I had paid/wasted good money for their products!!!!
