Im in love with virtual clone drive now anyway and wouldn't change even if daemon tools work, great little program.Installed in on an xp system aswell. Is there any difference in what it can mount? because i have tried thousands of things and no problem.Plus right clicking and mounting is a good feature that daemons doesn't have.
But will it work on Win 7???
I will test it and reply as soon as I do that...

Having the safely remove devices pop up is not really a big deal. Mine is always up because I have an external hard drive plugged in. I set the icon to be hidden to avoid clutter.

I also think you can set a software restriction policy to negate that popup when it is triggered. Not 100% sure but I would try that personally.

does virtual clone drive support MDF/MDS and NRG (Nero) format too?

btw, the things that get me stick with DT is that it allow me to double-click a image file to mount it.. (i just dont like the right-click way..)

however, i discover that DT Lite v4.30.4 (SPTD 1.58) cause my Windows 7 boot animation lag for awhile (0.5 seconds)..after i do some research, i found that its the DT/SPTD causing it..others are claiming that it slow down their system boot up too..

just hope the latest SPTD 1.60 will solve the problem..will test it out soon..
