    i cannot find Microsoft video 1 on their website, only a package codecs which does not include Microsoft video 1
    i don't like third party sites who run u around
    is there a direct link to Microsoft video 1

    I don't know. It was there when I installed CamStudio. At the top of the list of video compressors.

    Microsoft video 1 should come with camstudio. It's in my list as well.
