Utorrent works well but not the very recent beta version

Download uTorrent 2.0.0 Beta 16126 - FileHippo.com DO NOT USE THIS VERSION

I got a memory error and crash... This one works well for me though

    Download uTorrent 1.8.4 Build 16150 - FileHippo.com
yah I use 1.8.4 and it works fine!

don't you guys know about the secret code hidden within windows 7 that reports all your p2p activities to microsoft, fbi, riaa and the pope?

that's why i still use my xp partition on my laptop for my μtorrenting needs...
Actually I don't mind Bill Gates -- but isn't it true now ALL ISP'S in the UK have to record EVERY KEYSTROKE you make whilst using the Internet and then this is passed on to some big UK gov central database for Police perusal and control.

Something about "Checking for illegal downloads" so Hollywood can fund a failing and hated government's next election program.

Knowing how these big IT projects never work or take so many years to implement that by the time its implemented its totally out of date I wouldn't worry too much about that one.

To get back to the thread -- utorrent seems to be the most popular choice -- use version 1.8 however not the 2.0 beta version until its more stable.

    Cheers

utorrent and soulseek are the only two I use and both work fine in Windows 7.

Did you have to modify Windows 7 to work with Soulseek? Its locking up my wireless router after about 30 seconds of searching for music.
