    ConfigFree 7.4.8.Gadgets - for Win7, how?

all friends. i trust u might know about the ConfigFree, network mgt application; in fact it is exclusively for Toshiba. However in XP or Vista, we can use the trick to install in none Toshiba laptop like Lenovo and Dell.
    Trick:
    REGEDIT INSTRUCTIONS:
1-Install (util_configfree_2499B.exe) program and then reboot.
    2-Then open regedit.
    Under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SOFTWARE->TOSHIBA>CONFIGFREE
Locate the "Instcheck" line on the right side of the screen.
Set VALUE to a "Satellite 5205" without quotation
    3-Reboot.
4- After reboot go = Start button, it is in the All Programs\Toshiba\Networking menu. (ENJOY)

Now it is the new version for Win7. Link is here:
    hxxp://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/content/support/downloads/utility_configfree_TC00141000C.exe
    Change the hxxp to http
Thus any friend here can make it work? It is very wonderful if so.
I tried it on my Lenovo T61 but I failed at the Service update something that it is not unable to install

Just a note that in Win7, we still can use the Vista version but the newer version for Win7 might be more wonderful

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE reveal the secret.

Years ago I used toshiba notebooks. I started to use and till now I'm using ConfigFree utility from Toshiba. This is GREAT utility for users that changes network enviroment frequently. You can create profiles for each location and then you can switch profiles quickly (two clicks).
When I replace my Toshiba laptop with Dell, I tried to find a way to use ConfigFree on Dell. There wasn't a problem, because simple registry hack solve that protection and on Windows 7 x64 ConfigFree works. You have to navigate to this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\TOSHIBA\ConfigFree and you have to change InstCheck REG_SZ value to for example "Tecra S2"(without quotes). After that change you can use ConfigFree on any brand of laptop.
