you can safely delete anything in windows/temp, so long as it's not currently in use - order it by date, then select and delete everything older than today.

make sure that you also showing hidden files, so you can zap them as well.

or start typing cleanup into your startmenu searchbox, and select 'Disk Cleanup' from the results. this should winkle out all the useless junk on your drive(s).

how do i see or find hidden files and how do i know i don't need them?

ive done disk clean up and now think making a movie will have to be done by editing out the best footage and exporting to an avi file losing one generation in the process
but will have enough disk space to do the movie in c drive

sorry, forget that about the hidden files. i wrongly thought that you wouldn't be able to see the windows temp folder if hidden files/folders were hidden.

if you need any help with your video editing, then you know where to ask! although do make a new thread in the 'music, pictures and video' section of the forums. :)
