    NOTE: To update to the new versions, you will need to run the Windows Essentials installer again.

    I already got windows live Installed, so I should get the updates via windows update right??

    Yes, download the installer from download.live.com and itl show you which programs require upgrading.

    Hello Septprince,

    You can just run the Windows Live Installer again for it to update the ones that you already have installed. You can see an example of this for my Windows Live Mail and Windows Live Messenger in the screenshot in the first post for these listed as to update.

    But I downloaded the new installer and when i started it , it is showing me that the programs are already Installed and I sure installed programs are old versions..

    Septprince,

    Strange, did you check the version numbers in the ones that you have installed to see if you may have already updated them through Windows Updates?

    If they are the old ones, then you can uninstall them (Windows Live Essentials in Programs and Features), then reinstall to get the new versions.
