Didn't see SyncBack Free - freeware version of the ultimate data backup software I've been using it for quite a while having tried all the others. Has some nice features.

    • Backup
    • Synchronize: Copy files in both directions
    • Restore backup files easily
    • Email logs
    • Run programs before and after profiles
    • Schedule backups
    • Unicode enabled for non-English filenames
    • Process unlimited filename lengths
    • Simple and Advanced mode
    • Runs on Windows 8, 7, Vista, and XP - Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows are supported.
    • Extensive Help Documentation & Support
    • Completely Free!
I use it also, 1 of the best free backup/Sync programs I have used.

A couple of baby programs to help parents.

    First up:

Owlet Baby Care | The Wireless iPhone Baby Breathing Monitor

This is an iPhone app that in conjunction with an ankle sending unit, the parent can monitor the baby's vitals from their iDevice; Heart rate, oxygen levels, skin temperature, sleep quality, and sleeping position are all available in one view.

It is on a pledge system with 14 days left.

    Next:

    (Windows) Baby Smash!
    (Mac, IDevices) AlphaBaby

Baby Smash essentially locks down the entire system and consumes the screen. While it’s running it shows up as a fullscreen application, but it also disables several well-known Windows hotkey shortcuts. The Windows key, CTRL+ESC and ALT+TAB shortcuts do absolutely nothing. To further clarify, if they are pressed nothing at all happens. The application doesn’t minimize, close or disappear. Only two shortcuts work: ALT+F4 to close the program, and SHFT+CTRL+ALT+O brings up the options menu. While it can happen, I’m willing to bet that no child is going to simultaneously press ALT+F4 so you’re in the clear there. It’s also worth noting that the CTRL+ALT+DEL shortcut still works.

I can see a secondary use for this one if the user has pets that "love" to be around a keyboard and you have to be away from your machine.

This is a GREAT little program, anything and everything you need to know about your system in a double click, I've used this for quite sometime and did not know there was an update to it.

    Thanks for the reminder!
