There is a free version of google earth that doesn't have the video taking capabilities and stuff I had it in vista I believe ?
But either way a cool offer but yes it is a resource hog but very cool to checkout all of the space goodies :)

    Might get it too :/
I do miss all of the cool shots of space not necessarily the earth stuff.
Thanks for posting it and making me think about it again
    Cheers.

Yep well the Desktop Earth is really playing up on some my machines now as it it used to update every five minutes but I just get stuck with a fixed image beit day or night. The only one working is my tester and I don't use it that much these days.

You could make and save tours with either Earth or Earth Pro.

Interesting, I wasn't aware of Desktop Earth and I thought John was referring to Google's Earth.
    Is this the link? DesktopEarth

Are there any better PDF viewers other than Adobe? Adobe's sinking down now.

No kidding. I've spent a very frustrating day with their support system. What a joke it has become. With them going to subscription only on many of their products already, they are probably going to lose me when Acrobat XI reaches EOL in 2017.
