    Cant seem to get this one to work guys . I have ran it in admin mode as well as compatibility mode.. no luck. I did notcice than when I go to sync my ipod the drive disappears from My Computer. After about a min Itunes states no drive available. Strange stuff

    A lot of people are having problems with Itunes 64 bit in vista and 7. My guess is they haven't perfected it like they think they have.

    Thanks for the reply Airbot. I agree this seems to be a 64 bit issue. Ill just continue to sync via xp till we get an update.

    Current version works fine on my HP 8710p with Seven x64. (Including iPod Sync)

    You might try that installer fix that's been found.

    Hmm ... interesting but that ddnt work. Ill expand on what I see. After I plug in my shuffle I see it show up in My computer. When I start Itunes the drive dissappears ? Therefore when I sync, Itunes tells me no drive available . Seems like a windows apple battle to me... hehe.

    no I kinda of gave up and just use my xp machine.

    iTunes 8.0.1 now available...
    have you tried clean installing this one?
    (unnistalling the old itunes and installing the new one (while rebooting before instaling the new itunes))
