UAC - Exception List?

I have two programs I have placed in the "Startup" folder; one is a temperature monitoring program which I must have running.

Unfortunately due to UAC kicking in they do not autostart.

Is there someway I can get them included in say an exception list in respect of UAC?

Thare is no exception list for the UAC, although this particular issue may be solved by use of the task scheduler to call your programs at start-up with the correct permissions.

If you check the Tutorials section you should find step by step instructions

Thanks for the replies.

I'd rather have UAC functioning.

Placed a shortcut on desktop as interim measure.

Task Scheduler

BarMan has the correct idea. I run an .exe with a delayed start with highest priv and it works.

Is there an exception list for Win7 UAC?
Hello everyone, I am using an online porgram that works fine when UAC is turned off. I know which ports and executables to allow, but I don't see where they can be entered. Does Windows 7 allow exceptions? Thanks.
