    It is not very clear what your problem is. But you can easily download the latest 64-bit version of iTunes from Apple - iTunes - Download iTunes Now and install it.

    In normal cases you don't have uninstall the earlier version to install the current version but if you are having problems in installation then you can even try that.

    Try these steps::

    Check Internet Connection
    Turn Off Firewall
    Exclude iTunes from DEP:
    Conflict between iTunes and DEP (Data Execution Prevention) can result in error. Exclude iTunes from DEP to solve the problem.
    Right click on My Computer to select Properties.
    Select Advanced System Settings | Click on Advanced tab
    Now select settings under performance tab | Select DEP (Data Execution Prevention)
    Select “Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select” | Add
    Select iTunes
    executable file | OK | Click on OK again

    According to Apple, video importing requires QuickTime 7.6.2 or later.

    Do you have Quicktime installed? If not, perhaps you need to?

    It Says Version 10.6.1 is avaliable for update and my current version is 10.6.0.40. Also i have tried downloading it from apples website and no errors nothing during install, although when i restarted my computer, still nothing i did not take. Now when you try and update it itune tells me a bunch of signatures are invailid.
